No. SW01 Simple caliber conversion Available for most S&W revolvers though, by far, the most popular subject is the Heavy Duty N-frame fixed-sight model. The M28 is also an excellent candidate where adjustable sights and lighter barrels are advantageous. Includes reboring, rerifling, recrowning and remarking the original barrel, rechambering the cylinder and a dip blue of the whole gun. In many cases, we’ll also have to perform the optional pin-in front sight conversion to achieve proper regulation. Please note: because many of these guns exhibit heavy use and abuse, we may, at our discretion, elect to hand finish a gun for best results. Calibers include .38-40, .44-40, .44 Special and .45 Colt. J and K-frame guns are also suited to a variety of small-bore conversions but may require the installation of barrels and cylinders to do so. The .32-20 is by far the best of the lot. For conversions utilizing new barrels and cylinders, please contact us for availability and a quotation on price.
