Front sight Regulation
Known Limitations
In certain circumstances, when employing the DX-type front sight system, the ability to correctly regulate certain combinations of front and rear sight for certain ammunition loads may be virtually impossible.
For Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskans and the 4" Standard Redhawks using .44 magnum 240 gr. loads, there is no appropriate combination of XS tritium-dot front sights and V-notch rear sights currently manufactured which will regulate. Users will need to elect the white-outline/square-notch rear and white-line front blades set-up which is much for flexible. We hope XS Sights will eventaully add the .225 height tritium-dot blade we need to their sight line-up. The shortest now available is the .275.
