ADJUSTABLE REAR SIGHTS

These heavy-duty adjustable rear sights are dedicated designs engineered specifically for Ruger and Smith & Wesson revolvers. The buttressed body and a substantial blade tenon afford increased protection for the blades. Available in a wide variety of blade styles and heights, blades are readily interchanged without removing the body from the revolver. Made from heat-treated alloy steel, these sights are finely machine from bar stock and matte black finished to reduce glare. All square-notch blades are .125 wide, the industry standard size. Due to an ever-increasing variety of these parts, we do not always have a given variation in stock. Most we can deliver in short order, however. Thanks to the flexibility of this design, we can often assemble a non-cataloged version if you do not see exactly what you need. Complete instructions included.

For RUGER REVOLVERS

The Ruger-pattern Rough Country sights utilize tough, opposing tension screws for both windage and elevation adjustments rather than the more delicate click adjustments found on target-style sights. These sights, are however, still capable of very precise adjustment. Available only for New Model and Flat Top single-actions and various GP-100, Redhawk and Super Redhawk models. Please note that the .44 Magnum Super Redhawks, GP-100s and ‘Hunter’ models require the tall version (.385 high blades). Standard blade height for all other Rugers is .350. Please note that the .370 and .400 tall blades listed in the Smith & Wesson Rough Country sight section will fit the Ruger sight bodies for added flexibility.

Fits Ruger New Model single-action revolvers including the Single-Six, Blackhawk, Super Blackhawk and Bisley models and double-action revolver including the standard Redhawk and .454/.480 Super Redhawks.

Fits Ruger .44 Magnum Super Redhawks, GP-100s and most ‘Hunter’ models.

Fitted with a plain, black square-notch blade with serrations to break up glare. For the same guns as the RCSS sight.

Fitted with a .385 tall plain, black square-notch blade with serrations to break up glare. For the same guns as the RCSS38 sight.

Fits all Ruger New Model singe-action and Ruger GP-100 and Redhawk double-action revolvers. There is no comparable Ruger part so this sight must be used with a compatible custom front sight.

Fits both Old and New Model Ruger Flat Top model single-action revolvers. Please note, however, that the original Flat Top models have a shorter rear sight blade. This sight may have to be modified to achieve proper regulation. Blanks available for custom blades.

For all Rough Country sight models, this blank, unshaped blade can be easily machined into nearly any blade imaginable. It is tall enough for making apertures and thick enough for most tritium bar installations. Installs and interchanges as do all the other Rough Country blades. When available blades just don't quite work for a specific application, this is our 'go to' blade.
